Brenna Segal, DVM
We promise that your visit to our hospital will be unlike any other veterinary care you have experienced. Remember, we cater to cats only. Making cats happy means we must be quiet, tranquil and spotlessly clean. It means we use cafe tables instead of stainless steel ones. Our cats that are boarding enjoy watching birds in our large aviary. Our patients hear classical music and our clients enjoy relaxing on our comfortable, overstuffed chairs. Our cats will never hear the sound of barking dogs. Instead, you and your cat will experience the serene and sophisticated atmosphere all clients deserve.
Focusing on cats also allows us to concentrate on our training and our resources. All of our continuing education is centered on feline medicine and surgery rather than on a variety of species. Since we do not need large kennel runs or a 100 lb. scale, our funds can be allocated for state-of-the-art equipment like a digital x-ray machine for a cat's body and a digital dental x-ray machine. We also have a surgical laser as well as a Class IV laser for arthritis. Limiting our practice to cats helps us stay on the cutting edge of feline care.
Dr. Brenna Segal is proud to be a member of AAHA. The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization to accredit companion animal veterinary hospitals. It is optional, and only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States choose to become accredited. Our accreditation holds us to a higher standard. In fact, there are over 900 standards that our hospital has to meet in order to achieve AAHA accreditation. We consistently deliver excellent care for cats because we maintain these standards. The Cat Clinic of Cobb has been AAHA accredited since 1995. Her GOLD membership with American Association of Feline Practitioners keeps us cat friendly all the time. She is also a member of the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and is a board member for Furkids (Georgia's largest no-kill cat shelter).
The Cat Clinic of Cobb has been helping cats and their owners from Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Roswell, Cartersville, Dallas and Smyrna areas since 1994. We invite you to learn more more about our veterinarian and our veterinary staff as well as tour our practice here.
Finally, the Cat Clinic of Cobb lets us do what we love the most . . . work with cats all day! What could be more rewarding than working to keep our feline friends healthy? Our hospital emphasizes preventive medicine for long, happy lives, and we hope that you and your cat will enjoy a lasting relationship with us. We are proud of our hospital and our staff, and we invite you to stop by for a tour and a cup of catnip tea anytime!
